Industrial Technology Systems Ltd (ITS) has a team of DeltaV engineers, experienced in the design, implementation and support of DeltaV systems in a wide range of processing industries including: Chlorine, Poly Vinyls, Polymers (HDPE, LPDE), Ammonium Nitrates, Caustic Nitrates and Petrochemicals. Since 2003, ITS has had a team of engineers on-site at a UK chemical manufacturing plant, working closely with the end user in configuration of their DeltaV systems.

ITS’ team also specialises in migrating legacy systems including Honeywell TDC 2000 and Honeywell TDC 3000 systems with Emerson’s DeltaV Connect Solution.

Emerson also offers a safety instrumented system, DeltaV SIS which ITS’ team is familiar with. The system is IEC 61508 compliant and has been designed to meet the IEC 61511 standard. The system is therefore ideal for hazardous environments including Oil and Gas, Refineries and Petrochemical industries.

Emerson’s DeltaV System

Introduced in 1996, Emerson’s DeltaV system is a flexible, scalable Distributed Control System suitable for projects ranging from eight I/O to 30,000 I/O. Thousands of processing companies in the chemical, food and beverage, oil and gas, pharmaceutical and utilities industries are benefiting from the improvements that the systems deliver including reductions in process variance, process start up and product changeover times, and  improvements in uptime through predictive maintenance tools and system reliability. 

Based on PlantWeb architecture, Emerson’s DeltaV system is ideal for life science industries as it offers tools and features that meet the FDA’s 21 CFR Part 11 requirements including audit trails, electronic signatures and system access security.
