AMEC Preferred Subcontractor/Supplier Status for ITS

Industrial Technology Systems Ltd (ITS), an independent industrial automation solution provider, has been awarded Preferred Subcontractor/Supplier status by AMEC. The relationship will involve the two companies working closely together on future process control and safety systems for Power & Process industries in the UK and Europe.

Last year AMEC won the overall contract to install a gas compressor unit, new gas metering and new multi-junction valves including upgrades to the Fire & Gas, Station Protection and Station Control Systems for National Grid. AMEC awarded ITS, a Siemens solution provider, the contract to design, configure, implement and test the PLC and SCADA hardware and software for the Siemens PCS 7 control system based on Siemens PCS 7 architecture.

Following the successful delivery and completion of this project, AMEC has granted ITS the preferred supplier status.
