Industrial Technology Systems Ltd (ITS) was doubly visible at the annual International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering Annual Conference and Exhibition in Manchester in November, both exhibiting and sponsoring the prestigious ISPE Annual Dinner.
The conference theme was Operational Excellence – Leveraging the Value of Experience, which focused on the importance of experience to the pharmaceutical sector, emphasising how external experience can be harnessed and utilised.
In keeping with this theme, ITS was promoting both its services to, and extensive experience of the pharmaceutical industry, through its design, implementation and validation of process control, machine vision and management information systems to the sector.
The Conference, Exhibition and Annual Awards Dinner was held at the new Hilton Deansgate Hotel in central Manchester, the UK’s tallest non-London building. ITS entertained customers through its sponsorship of the drinks reception at the evening’s black tie dinner.
The 2007 conference was divided into two streams to improve choice and value, and under the two subject headings Project Management and Engineering Technology, covered such topics as Nanotechnology in Pharma, Sharing Design Best Practice, and Learning from Overseas Projects.
ISPE is the world’s largest not-for-profit association dedicated to the advancement of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, and the sector’s professionals. ITS’ membership of the organisation, alongside 25,000 members worldwide, provides access to a broad forum including government officials, suppliers, contractors and academics, which is used to the full benefit of ITS customers.
