ITS Achieves ISO 14001 Accreditation

Industrial Technology Systems Ltd’s accreditation to the internationally accepted standard ISO 14001, demonstrates the company’s commitment to environmental awareness.

ISO 14001, the cornerstone of the ISO 14000 Environmental Management System (EMS) framework series, is the only standard in the series against which it is possible to be certified by an external certification authority.

It applies to the environmental aspects over which a company has control and which it can be expected to have an influence, and pivots on the challenging balance between maintaining profitability and reducing environmental impact.

By having ISO 14001 accreditation, customers and partners can be confident that ITS:

• implements, maintains and improves its environmental management system
• conforms with its own stated environmental policy
• demonstrates conformance
• complies with environmental laws and regulations
• certifies its environmental management system by an external third party organisation
• regularly reviews its objectives for continual improvement
