Batch & DCS Systems

ITS’ Batch Control Systems provide automated batch management including recipe development, batch management and execution, production scheduling, equipment performance monitoring, production history and material tracking features. Distributed Control Systems are used in continuous or batch processes including food and beverage, oil refineries, paint, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals and power industries.  With the scalability and flexibility of a Distributed Control System, companies can control a complete system and many subsystems to improve plant efficiency, quality and performance.

ISA-88, the international standard for flexibility in manufacturing and processing industries, was introduced in 1995 to improve the production flexibility of the batch processing industry. Although the standard was designed for batch plants, the principles can also be applied to flexible manufacturing practices, both discrete and continuous. ITS’ knowledge and experience in the application of ISA-88 enables the team to offer advice and consultancy in its application.
