Complementing its process control capabilities, Industrial Technology Systems Ltd (ITS) also offers expertise in Distributed Control Systems (DCS), designed to monitor and control distributed equipment across large, dynamic manufacturing and processing sites.
Distributed Control Systems are used in continuous or batch processes including food and beverage, oil refineries, paint, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals and power industries. With the scalability and flexibility of a Distributed Control System, companies can control a complete system and many subsystems to improve plant efficiency, quality and performance.
ITS offers DCS services ranging from the provision of engineering resources, call-out support services, SLAs, system design and commissioning to full turnkey package solutions. ITS also offers support and upgrades for legacy DCS systems.
ITS’ DCS experience ranges from the reprogramming of small numbers of control loops, through to the design and implementation of entire control strategies, from the early stages of flowchart design through to completion. ITS has extensive experience in the design and implementation of Emerson’s DeltaV system, Honeywell’s TDC 2000 and TDC 3000, Allen Bradley’s ProcessLogix and the following DCS systems.
