Course Overview:

Are you caught up in the day-to-day issues of completing batches of product on time? Faced with people issues as well as technical aspects?

The GMP for Managers (1 Day) Training course encourages new or established managers to investigate Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and the way people act and behave, which could have negative implications for the patient.

Managers have a chance to revisit the basics and yet consider potential real scenarios that may occur in their working environment, with consideration given to what the potential solutions might be.

Course Content:
  • Identify current trends and issues with regulatory bodies
    • GMP trends from inspections and warning letters
  • Recall the 4 Ps: People, Procedures and documentation, Production areas and equipment, and Products and components, and how they relate to GMP
    • Foundation blocks of GMP
  • Describe how individual behaviours and habits can affect GMP
    • Investigate behavioural traits, state of mind and attitudes
    • Identify positive behaviours
  • Understand how situational leadership can be best utilised to improve supervision
    • Use basic situational leadership techniques to improve your management skills
    • Identify motivational factors which can influence GMP compliance
  • Establish, through the use of case studies, how to provide supervision to potentially real events
    • Use a number of different case studies to develop and integrate previous course learning
  • Develop realistic action plans to encourage and utilise positive behaviours to improve GMP compliance
    • Realise and plan personal development activities on return to the workplace
