ITS’ engineers share over 20 years’ experience in the implementation of Allen-Bradley PLCs, through a range of technical training courses. The courses are designed for engineers and technicians with limited programming skills and experience.
The courses provide the learners with the skills and knowledge to enable them to diagnose, fault-find and maintain the systems, in a safe and competent manner.
The Allen-Bradley courses are delivered using presentations and interactive practical sessions. The learners participate and practice using a training system, while the trainer reinforces the learning with examples.
ITS offers the following Allen-Bradley Training Courses:
- The two-day Allen-Bradley PLC-5 Training Course aims to provide engineers and technicians with the knowledge and skills to enable them to diagnose, fault-find and maintain Allen-Bradley PLC-5 Programmable Logic Controllers, in a safe and competent manner. The Allen-Bradley PLC-5 course enables the learners to download programs to the target hardware and upload programs in a similar manner. It also covers the maintenance of the PLC, changing the battery periodically and ensuring a full copy of the running software is maintained off-line.
- The Allen-Bradley SLC 500 Training Course is a two-day programme designed to provide the learners with the skills to write simple software code, configure the hardware and enter comments. The learners will gain confidence in connecting the programming software to the PLC processor, and monitoring the PLC software using the live software or a table of variables.
