Blister Pack Inspection

This robust vision system checks for the correct and full presence of capsules or tablets in a blister pack.

The application ensures that no tablets/capsules are missing or damaged, and that no incorrect tablets/capsules are in the pack, checking at a rate of eight packs per second.

Problems that can be detected by the system:

• Missing tablets/capsules
• Incorrect tablets/capsules
• Damaged tablets/capsules

Features of the system:

• Uses either robust Cognex In-Sight stainless steel sensor, small CCD camera and Cognex Vision Pro or small CCD camera and Systech SENTRI/ADVISOR vision processor
• Easy-to-use interface
• Inspects at rate of up to eight blister packs per second
