Concave Pressure Dome Inhaler Inspection

This vision application uses a Sony CCD camera with a Continuous Diffuse Illuminator (CDI) to remove the reflections from the base of the concave pressure dome inhaler for accurate identification.

Only by doing this could the ECC200 data matrix code be read to ensure that the data was correct.

Problems that can be detected by the system:

• Missing 2D data matrix code
• Unreadable 2D data matrix code

The features of the system are:

• Easy to use Systech SENTRI processor
• Standard off-the-shelf CCD cameras in stainless steel housings
• 21 CFR Part 11 compliant system
