A single industrial In-Sight 5400 is used to detect that gears have been correctly loaded before they are assembled.
After loading into the machine by the operator, an In-Sight 5100 with PatMax software, identifies whether the gear is correctly positioned, and rejects those which are the wrong way up.
The vision system can detect the following problems:
- Gears incorrectly loaded
- Gear incorrectly positioned
- Gears incorrectly welded to other components
Features of the system:
- High performance industrial In-Sight Vision Sensor
- IP67 camera enclosures
- Simple front light provides back lighting in limited space
- Robust inspection tools to identify shape of part
- Faults tracked through to reject station
