Bioprocess Automation & Control Course in Collaboration with Teesside University National Horizons Centre

In partnership with Teesside University National Horizons Centre, ITS in collaboration with Applikon, Emerson  are delivering this three-day course which introduces the benefits, strategies and concepts of automation and control in industrial biomanufacturing. Participants will learn about the potential for control improvement, how to know when process control systems are underperforming, and gain an appreciation of how to build a business case for implementing better quality control systems.

This introductory course is aimed at manufacturing operatives, or those early in their career, who want to gain an understanding of the theory and techniques used in biomanufacturing.

Who should attend?

  • Scientists and engineers working in the biomanufacturing environment who do not have a strong background in process automation and control
  • Scientists and engineers working in broader bio-based industries where the concepts and approaches can be applied.

  • 31st January – 2nd February 2023

Advanced Bioprocess Automation and Control

  • 21st – 25th March 2022
